About

The name System 7 comes from the recognition that many organizations in the social sector want to focus on their mission, not on the internal workings (systems) of the organization. Yet at the same time, they realize that without the proper systems in place, they remain inefficient and the best laid plans will be hampered. The ability to be efficient and effective is significantly driven by the systems in place. Processes like donor acknowledgement, internal communications, accounts payable, etc. all rely on efficient processes.

At System 7 we acknowledge that one size does not fit all. It is important that systems are developed to fit within your organizational context and culture. Our experience has shown that many organizations simply don't have the time or internal talent to focus on developing processes that serve the organization well. Strategic plans often flounder because the systems are not in place to effectively support the plans put in place.
